Dinner Tonight...Broccoli-Cheese Soup

| This was what we had for dinner tonight. Broccoli cheddar cheese soup in sourdough bread bowls yum! yum! (detailed recipe follows after photos) |

| A roux of butter & flour with onions, spices, broccoli florets and cream = goodness in a pot |

| Adding sharp cheddar cheese sends it over the edge! |

| Searving the soup in a hollowed out mini sourdough loaf, is especially fun for children! ...i found mine at Panera Bread. |

| Pureeing most of the broccoli soup in a blender or an emulsion blender (leaving 1/3 of it unpureed) adds a variety of texture to the soup. |

| Add the pureed soup back into the pot and you are ready for dinner... |

| Dish soup into the bread bowls and top with cheese, serving with the bread from the hollowed out sourdough loaf and ENJOY!! |
