Bittersweet Truffle Tart...if you need to take a dessert to share, this is the one!!
Bittersweet Truffle Tart...and not overly sweet which I like! |
The Recipe:
*I used dark chocolate chips (not bittersweet) for the filling.
*I only had raspberry preserves so I used that instead of strawberry preserves.
*I did not use mascarpone for the topping, instead I made whip cream, sweetened it with granulated sugar and added almond extract to keep with the almond flavor of the dessert.
*I topped my tart with strawberries
*I added shaved dark chocolate by using a peeler on a bar of dark chocolate, it easily makes shaved chocolate for the topping.
