Valentin Leonhardt, my great, great, great, great, great Grandfather!

This was the church that my great, great, great, great, great grandfather helped to establish
in Davidson County North Carolina- near Lexington.
My sister Carrie did a genealogy search on my mothers side of her family and found this information on a past family member.
His name was Valentin Leonhardt, geboren in der Kuhr Pfaltz in Katzenbach den 13 Ocdober 1718, und ist in dem Herrn entschlafen den 13 November, 1781. Nun Hier ligteine Handvoll Aschen mit Christi Blut gewashen. Valentin Leonhardt was born at Katzenbach, in the Electorate of Palatinate, October 13, 1718, and died November 13, 1781.
And on his tombstone it reads:
"Here now lies a handful of ashes washed in the blood of Christ."
And Christ's blood has continued to wash, heal, restore and redeem the souls of many a family member ever
since!
